FieldTrip is a large Australian creative conference, now apart of the Analogue/Digital group. It’s held each year in various Australian Capitals. The conference plays host to many of the world’s most influential designers in the graphics, art and business fields.
Inspired by Morse Code, the poster interprets how creatives attempt to send messages. It’s much like a code. As designers, we attempt to decrypt messages (client briefs). These briefs are often communicated in visuals that the audience can understand and enjoy. The concept was to make the Morse Code stand out before the English translation is read below it. This gains the audience’s attention and convinces them to take a closer look at what the poster is all about.
